It’s been a while since I’ve told you all what I’m doing. Trust me when I tell you, there’s always plenty to do. My event schedule is starting to fill up again. I don’t have all the info just yet, but here is what to be on the lookout for:
- In February, I have the honor of being one of the speakers for The Black Speakers Network Black History Speakers series. I’ll share the story of Garrett Morgan, the creation of the gas mask, and its impact on the fire service.
- In April, I’ll be one of the performers for Artomatic 2024. It’s about a month and a half of artists of all disciplines coming together in Washington, DC, to showcase their disciples. I’ll be telling stories about fire service history, including African Americans in the fire service.
I’m waiting to hear back about performances in May and June that are also exciting. Be sure to subscribe to the blog or check in on my page HERE to learn more about the places I’ll be telling stories and jokes and talks with folks. Looking forward to seeing you sometime this year!
